Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Fallas Map website and its Android mobile application.

1. Data Controller

The entity responsible for data processing is Ideorax (hereinafter, “the Controller”). Contact: fallespecials@gmail.com

To operate the application, we process the following data:

Account Data: Name and email address (via Email/Password Login).
- Purpose: Manage access, save preferences, and prevent unauthorized access.
Device Data & Identifiers: Device ID and technical OS data.
- Purpose: Sending push notifications (updates on Fallas or news) and error diagnostics.

Navigation: Technical data (IP, browser) processed anonymously or pseudonymized for product metrics.

We use your real-time location exclusively to center the map and sort Fallas by proximity.
Privacy: Location is processed “on-device”. We do not store your location history nor track your movements on our servers.

We share strictly necessary data with infrastructure providers. We do not sell data to third parties.

Supabase: Backend-as-a-Service provider. Stores the user database (email/name) and manages secure authentication.
Google Maps Platform: Map rendering. Receives standard technical data (IP) when loading cartography.
Firebase (Google):
- Crashlytics: Collects crash reports (error logs, mobile model, battery status) to help us fix bugs.
- Analytics: Anonymous usage metrics within the App.
PostHog: Behavioral analytics for the Web version.

Our funding comes from direct sponsorships.

No Ad Tracking: Sponsors appear as featured locations on the map or in lists.
Privacy: We do not share your personal data or browsing behavior with sponsors. We do not use programmatic ad networks (like AdSense or AdMob) that track users.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection by writing to fallespecials@gmail.com.

Account Deletion: If you request account deletion, we will remove your name and email from Supabase, revoking access to registered user features.
